Child Education
Education is the pathway that determines the elevation from poverty of the younger generation in the developing world. . We at Light and Hope aim to provide as many needy young people an opportunity to achieve their potential with supporting them in their aim for seeking a better life. . We aim to make a difference in the lives of these young people through EDUCATION.
Young people in developing countries are full of potential but most of them are in need of your support to achieve their dreams and be successful in life. .. Join hands with us to shed more Light and Hope in making education more accessible.
The average number of children per classroom in the first grade is 130 in Malawi . In Cameroon, there are 11 primary school students sharing a reading textbook and 13 second grade students sharing a mathematics textbook.. In some of the world’s poorest countries, 95% of children with disabilities have no access to schooling.
These are just a few numbers illustrating how education is being made difficult to attain for young people in developing countries. In reality, it is much simpler to provide a proper education.. According to GPE (Global Partnership for Education), the cost for the provision of a basic education for the first 13 years of a child is an average of $1.25 a day in developing countries. Women Empowerment
Light & Hope’s one of major aim is to develop women empowerment across the globe. We believe all women have to be treated equally as men and have the right to influence social change for themselves.
Promoting women’s right have taken a drastic positive move as a part of the global movement and its continuing to set up new ground levels in recent years. Example: Days like international women’s empowerment day are also gaining its momentum.
- 750 million women and girls alive today were married before the age of 18
- 1 in 5 women have experienced physical or sexual violence in the last 12 months
- 7 percent representation of women in political offices
Light & Hope strongly believes Women’s empowerment is very essential to the health and social development of families, communities, and the overall country.
When a woman lives a safe, Fulfilled, and productive life, They could reach their maximum potential which will reflect on their skills to build a better workforce and to raise a healthy child which will lead to a better future generation.
Poverty
Poverty is one thing we really don’t want our next generation to experience. Light & Hope & its volunteers collect the latest evidence and analysis about world poverty to help and develop the poorest in the other side of the world and look into the investment areas which will be beneficial to improve lives.
- Half of the world poor are children
- 70% of global poor aged 15 and older have no schooling or only basic education
- More than 40% affected by fragility, conflict, and violence and it’s expected to increase by 67% next decade.
- 132 Million of the global poor live in high flood risk
Middle-income earners such as India, Nigeria are significantly affected and a statistic says, these countries are the homes to 80% new poor. Light & Hope’s main objective is to eradicate poverty all across the globe and provide attainable solutions with the help of volunteers.

As Light & Hope Foundation is mainly functioning towards individuals who are facing difficulties we are fully committed to ensuring all individuals rights are recognized. As equal and inalienable rights of all human beings provide the foundation for freedom, justice and peace in the world. We as a family identify basic requirements of beneficiaries and either supported initiatives to improve service delivery or advocated for their fulfilment.
